This Reserva offers the well known Tempranillo grape smoothed out by a blend with Cabernet Sauvignon. The taste is round and smooth with hints of dark plums, spices and tobacco. 2 Years of ageing in French Oak barrels gives a round finish to this unique discovery. The wine is ready for drinking now but made with optimum acidity for a long conservation in the bottle, it can be put down for a couple of years. A unique wine with a lable to match, an original painting by Ricard Commeleran for Bodegas Penafiel.
