The Grasevina grape (better known as Welschriesling or Laski Riesling) has been a staple of Croatian wine making for many years, accounting  for nearly 30% of production.The wine is softer, but with a better acid balance, with more tropical fruits and even preserved lemons on the palate ‘An elegant wine from a pariah of a grape type’. Unlike the Riesling, the Grasevina is not as sweet.
